About the founder
Integrated Medicare Solutions (IMS) was founded with a clear purpose: to deliver hospital-grade home healthcare services in Lahore that combine clinical excellence with compassion and accountability.

I am Petra Sheraz — a pharmacist and healthcare leader trained at the University of Minnesota, USA, where I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree. After relocating to Pakistan in 2011, I committed myself to strengthening healthcare systems through structured governance, patient safety, and ethical clinical practice.

To deepen my understanding of healthcare leadership and operations, I completed my Master of Science in Healthcare Management and Innovation from LUMS, focusing on healthcare strategy, quality assurance, and operational excellence.

Over the past decade, I have worked in leading tertiary-care hospitals in Pakistan. As Head of Pharmacy at Hameed Latif Hospital, I established the clinical pharmacy department, developed standardized operating procedures, and implemented inpatient pharmacy systems centered on medication safety and quality control.

I later served as Chief of Pharmacy at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute — one of Pakistan’s most advanced tertiary-care institutions — where I oversaw procurement strategy, departmental financial management, and continuing professional development for clinical teams. Working in high-acuity environments reinforced my belief that structured clinical governance saves lives.

During my years in hospital leadership, I observed a recurring gap: patients discharged from intensvie care units, post-surgery units and high dependency settings often lost structured supervision once they returned home.
Families were left navigating complex medical needs without experiences, guidance or warning signs.
